Description |
Carte-de-visite of Enfield Shaker Irena George. On the back written in pencil is "Irena George/Enfield, N.H." The front of the card has a black background, "Lewis, Lebanon, N.H." printed in the bottom margin, beveled and gilt edges and rounded corners. The image measures 2-1/4" x 3-5/8" and has square edges. The card measures 2-1/2" x 4-1/8". Irena is wearing a white cap, buttoned white blouse, Bertha collar with buttons down the front, trim at the neck and a band of trim at sternum height, a crocheted shawl over her shoulders. |
