Description |
Carte-de-visite of Enfield Shaker Myra Green. On the back is written in pen "Myra Green/Enfield/&/Canterbury/Lived to be 107 yrs." and at the bottom is printed "Cameo Gems copied/from Cabinets./Send for prices/F.J. Walsh" The last line runs off the bottom of the card. The front of the card has a cream color with stippled outer border, embossed frame with mitered corners and flat field where the image is pasted. The image is 2"x3" (including a white border) with square edges. The card is 2-3/8" x 4" Myra Green is wearing glasses, a white cap, white blouse, dress or kerchief around her shoulders that is pinned in front. |
