Stereoview card. Henry Blinn is sitting in a rocking chair, a book in his left hand, his right elbow on a table, in his office on the first floor, west end, of the Ministry House. The room has several Shaker made pieces including a side chair, table, large desk, and carpet, but is notable for it's worldly Victorian decor. From left to right can be seen a Ford Foundry top loading wood stove over a carpet, a rocking chair with lace fabric featuring a dove, a large upholstered sofa, Henry sits on a scroll armed rocker with lace over the back. There is a vibrantly patterned floor covering, the windows have heavy shades, and there is pegrail, but does not appear to be any pegs. The table he rests his elbow on has several books, some papers, a liquid-fueled lamp, and a Nelson Chase stereoptican. On the wall above his head is a framed image of the Last Supper and a large map of New England is seen over his left arm. The large desk has 4 drawers to the left of the knee hole, 4 drawers to the right with a low and small work surface above them, and an upper gallery with vertical slots, a set of three drawers either side of a central cubby opening and a cupboard to the right. There is a row of books on the top of the gallery and a shelf mounted on the wall with iron brackets above that. On the shelf are a pair of binoculars, a clock, and some indistinct items to the right. Above the shelf are two framed floral images hanging on the wall. A metal cylinder sits under the desk. In the C.E. Lewis numbered stereoview series, this image is #15, but this card does not have the printed list affixed to the back. The card has rounded corners and orange paper on the front. The images have shallow arches on the top edges, and are straight on the remaining three sides. The back is pink, which is faded around the edges. At the top of the back in pencil "Interior of / Ministry's Dwelling / at Shaker Village, / N.H." In the middle of the back is a stamp in red ink at approximately 45 degree angle that reads "From / C.E. Lewis, / Photographer, / Lebanon, - N.H." At the bottom in Robert Leavitt's handwriting in blue ink in the center is "Leavitt Collection" an in the lower left corner upside down in pencil "#15?"
