Description |
Large sheet made of 4 grain bags sewn together. One bag is marked C.M. Dyer / Enfield, N.H. which is struck through, the other three marked CHH (for Church Family). All bags also have two initials which are hard to read, either DT, DP, or DF. In one corner "D42" is embroidered in double strands of red thread. The bags are sewn together, and a hem is hand basted into the top, as to hold a curtain rod. The construction of the 4 panels seems old, and the hem for a curtain rod appears quite recent. There are many repairs and patches in all of the panels. |
